All in all, a slow site will affect your bottom line. From an SEO standpoint however, it may be the contributing factor as to why your page isn’t ranking on the first page of Google. If your site is slow, it’s not very user-friendly; If your site isn’t user-friendly, Google will take this into account when granting PageRank. Michael Stearne suggests using a caching plugin WP Super Cache.
