Google Releases iOS Analytics App

Today, Google Analytics released its official app for iOS. What does this mean? It google analytics mobile app navigationmeans we now have access to all of our data, right at our finger tips.

Previously available on Android where it experienced more than a million downloads, the iOS version should prove to be equally as successful.

Many of the early reviews tout its easy navigation and data presentation. I for one love the real time reports and no longer having to zoom in on the desktop version on my phone.

The side navigation and larger data make it easy to see the important metrics. Many feature in the app mirror the desktop site such as advanced segments, custom date range, etc. The one thing it’s missing that I would like to see are the custom dashboards but maybe that’ll appear in the next update.

With Google’s push for mobile first, I’m glad they finally released an app that further supports that mindset. I look forward to further exploring the app today and in the coming weeks and I encourage you to do so as well.
