Sara Molnick, Digital Account Coordinator at Path Interactive, will speak as a panelist at the University at Albany’s annual networking event in NYC.
As an alumni from the University at Albany School of Business, Sara will share her insight and experience about her career in digital marketing, and more specifically Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Marketing (PPC) and Social Media Marketing, to current undergraduate students from the SUNY School. The purpose of this annual networking event is to provide current students with advice on how to begin planning for their careers in business. This event will serve as an informative way for students to learn about working, living and succeeding in New York City.
As an undergrad, Sara studied both Marketing and Finance and began her career in digital marketing at Path Interactive in September 2012 after graduating that May. Being that Digital Marketing and more specifically, SEO and Social Media Marketing is still relatively new, it’s uncommon to find these topics taught at colleges as their own programs. Sara hopes to shed some light on the industry, what it takes to work in it, and what types of internships students should be looking out for in order to gain the skills necessary to develop a career in digital.
