NEW YORK, December 5th, 2017 – Path Interactive has been named the #4 best place to work in the NYC area, according to a recent study conducted through a partnership of Crain’s New York and the Best Companies Group. The list highlights exceptional employers that strive to benefit the city’s economy while maintaining a highly engaged and fulfilled workforce.
After sharing an unranked list of the 100 Best Places to Work in NYC earlier this fall, Crain’s announced the numerical rankings for the companies listed at a private luncheon held on December 1st. Path Interactive, which has appeared on the list for three consecutive years, once again climbed in the ranks, surpassing the #5 spot they earned in 2016 and the #39 position they held in 2015.
The prestigious list bases rankings on data collected from company employees and employers. While high-level data from the employers, such as turn-over rates and company perks, accounts for 25% of the ranking process, it’s the employee opinions which do the heavy lifting, accounting for 75% of the calculation. The ranking strategy happens to match Path Interactive’s ethos. “We strive to be an employee-led culture and not dictate too much from the top down. Letting people have more flexibility allows them to create an environment that’s most conducive to their success”, said CEO, Michael Coppola.
In addition to that latitude, Path Interactive provides employees with unlimited vacation days, company-covered healthcare deductibles, weekly fitness classes at local hotspots like SoulCycle and Barry’s Bootcamp, and a bevy of other benefits aimed at reducing both work and life tensions. The strategy seems to be paying off. In addition to the Crain’s victory, the company recently scored the #4 spot on the 2017 Ad Age Best Places to work list and was named the 2017 North America winner of the Google Premier Partner for Display Innovation. The latter win was based on their revolutionary work for talent acquisition suite, iCIMS, which connected offline conversions to impressions on the Google Display Network (GDN) and helped prove the value of display media as a digital marketing channel.
