NYC Technology Start Ups Meet-Up

On Wednesday December 4th, 2013, Ruben Quinones, of New York search and social agency Path Interactive, will be serving on the expert panel at The NYC Technology Start Ups Meet-Up. The Meet-Up is taking place at Alley NYC, located at 500 7th Ave and costs $5 per person to attend.

During this Meet-Up, 3 e-commerce start-ups will be given a full review session on how they can improve their customer’s shopping cart experience and sell more products. The following questions will be addressed:

• Is your e-commerce website optimized to sell?

• Is your shopping cart UI properly converting visitors into a interested shoppers?

• What are your major design issues and limitations?

• How are you measuring your conversion?

• Did you setup goals?

• What is your marketing strategy?

Also on the evening’s panel will be Tammy Guy, founder of visual design and usability consulting firm Tammy Guy Design. Tammy Guy Design provides consulting to clients from industries such as fashion retail, commodity retail, pharmaceuticals, insurance, financial services, social networking and more. Tammy has guest spoken at Neilsen Norman Group and teaches visibility and usability workshops.

Ruben Quinones is  the Director of New Media at New York City Search and Social agency Path Interactive. In his strategic role, Ruben provides forward thinking leadership for the company’s Digital marketing processes.  Responsibilities includes strategic consulting,  key project management for client digital strategy and execution, and training. Ruben is also an adjunct instructor at the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies Marketing and Public Relations Studies Program, where he teaches a Search Engine Optimization intensive.
