New York City, September 10, 2012: Social media marketing has become an important and necessary part of a company’s marketing efforts. However, developing an online social presence can be challenging. This fall, NYU will be hosting a social networking class as a part of their Certificate in Digital Media Marketing Program, giving marketing professionals a chance to learn how to convey their message using social media platforms.
Beginning on September 20th, “Examining Social Media Networks for Brand Value” will teach you the best ways to interact with customers through user-generated platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Instagram, and Tout, and how to convey your message effectively and ethically. Ruben Quinones, Director of New Media at Path Interactive, will be instructing the course every Thursday from September 20 through November 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The course will be located at the Waverly building. Visit the NYU SCPS registration page for additional details. Path Interactive will also be facilitating NYU courses this fall, including two SEO courses and four Facebook Marketing courses.
