Keyword Density Tool

Path Interactive is rolling out a Keyword Density Tool to analyze; you guessed it, the keyword density of a webpage. To use the Keyword Density Tool for SEO, enter the URL of the page you want to see the word density for into the search bar. The tool will weigh certain keywords, tags and aspects of the page more heavily than others to recreate how search engines might view the page.

The Keyword Density Tool for SEO does not analyze the entire site when a URL is entered. To use the tool you must enter the specific url of the exact page you want analyzed. To evaluate the whole site you would have to manually enter in each url into the search bar.

There are also two options which you can select when using this tool. By selecting “Don’t Count Common Words”, you remove transition words like “in” “and” “the” ect. which helps weed out unnecessary vocabulary.

By selecting “Use Weighted Keywords” this distributes more weight to keywords that are in the URL or keywords that are in the titles or header tags. This is done by repeating the keywords at the end of the text so they are counted more than just once.

Have you used the Keyword Density Tool for SEO yet? Click here to give it a try.  Want to take your Search Engine Optimization to the next level?
