Career Day with New York on Tech

This wasn’t our first visit from New York on Tech, but we still felt the overwhelming sense of inspiration that accompanied hosting an event like career day. The participation from both the young members from New York on Tech and the Path team made “career day” a success.

The Path volunteers took turns speaking about their specific roles and what drives them to be the best in their field. Volunteers like Michael Coppola (CEO and Co-Founder), A.J. Magali (Sr. Strategist, Digital Media), and Tom King (Account Manager) gave general career advice and spoke about their experience in the digital marketing world, giving detailed descriptions of daily tasks.

Other team members like Sharif Karim (Web Development Manager), and Jennifer Gayadin (Sr. Strategist, SEO & Social), delivered dynamic speeches that grabbed the students’ attention and encouraged them to think “bigger”. Everything from coding to communication techniques captured our young guests’ attention, prompting them to take turns eagerly raising their hands, hungry for more knowledge. The overarching goal of each speaker was to let the students know that Path Interactive will always open its doors for anyone interested in the field of digital marketing.

While the digital world is fast changing and the day to day can be demanding, events like this remind me how much I enjoy what I do.  I’m grateful to be a part of a company that fosters career growth in a field that aligns with my personal and professional passions.

Without a successful digital strategy, a company cannot compete in today’s world. Our team supports our clients’ business goals by helping them align with an audience to better communicate their ideas in the ever-changing digital landscape. I don’t see my career in digital marketing as just another job, I see it is a necessary service. I’m proud to know that every day I contribute to the success of our clients’ businesses. Furthermore, I’m proud to be part of a company that is willing to invest in the success of the next generation.
