Next week in 8 cities across the globe, marketers, designers, advertisers and tech junkies are suiting up for one of the biggest events in the field in recent years, yes I am talking about Social Media Week.
Social Media Week is an international conference that brings together people from all corners of the marketing profession to discuss recent large-scale social media campaigns, technological developments and inspirations, branding practices and also the impact Social Media has made over the last decades. It explores each of these themes through, demonstrations, presentations, panel discussions and interactive classes for digital media users of all levels.
Social Media Week is more than just a great way to keep up with the current trends that are going on in the field. It also helps attendees to understand how the aspects of Social Media impacts both business trends and everyday life as a whole. For newcomers in the digital media field it is a fantastic way to both ask questions and learn about the more confusing and niche points that go into the development of the digital media landscape and how to adjust to it from both a personal and a professional perspective.

The majority of the events in New York City will start on the 18th of February at 9 AM and conclude around 6 PM on most days.
