New York, August 9th, 2011: New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) will be conducting a hands-on, intensive Search Engine Optimization course  taking place this Saturday, August 13th. Directed by expert search strategist Michael Coppola, the course will offer digital marketing insights for website developers, online marketers, content managers, and entrepreneurs to improve search visibility, search engine rankings, and overall site traffic.

As the CEO of New-York based digital marketing firm Path Interactive, Coppola will offer seasoned insights into the field of search engine optimization (SEO) and search marketing (SEM). Students will benefit from skills gained over years of experience building tailored SEO strategies for a variety of clients across countless industries.

The second session of SCPS’ summer Digital Media Marketing course in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), this session will aim to expand on practical knowledge already introduced by instructors Ruben Quinones and Michael Stearne in Session 1. Lessons in strategic keyword selection, placement, and site incorporation will be cemented, and students will acquire skills to develop, analyze, and advance comprehensive SEO campaigns.

The course will take place Saturday, August 13th from 9:00am-5:00pm at the NYU Midtown Center, at 11 W 42nd St (between 5th and 6th Avenue, across from Bryant Park). Visit the NYC SCPS course page for additional details.
