New York, June 22, 2011 – NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is conducting a hands-on intensive training course designed for the digital marketing professional. Digital entrepreneurs, web developers, content managers, and marketing professionals alike will all benefit by this interactive course taught by Michael Stearne and Ruben Quinones, digital marketers from New York City-based SEM firm Path Interactive.

Internet search traffic is fast becoming the primary lead generation vehicle for businesses worldwide, and as such it’s important to make sure your business maintains a presence in the world of search. Capable SEO consultants can often influence extraordinary gains in both overall traffic as well as lead conversions for businesses, making a dramatic difference in a business’ bottom line. Because proper SEO management is a dynamic, competitive, and always-evolving discipline, SEO professionals must stay up to date with the latest developments in search technology.

This Search Engine Optimization (SEO) course offered by NYU SCPS aims to provide practical SEO understanding regarding keyword selection and placement, meta-data and site tags, landing page optimization, and web analytics. The course will also offer insights about creating and managing SEO strategies and campaigns and strategies for improving website rankings. Students will be prepared to successfully plan, create, and execute digital and online marketing campaigns to direct targeted traffic to any website.

The course will take place Saturday, June 25th from 9:00am-5:00pm at the Woolworth Building, at 15 Barclay Street in New York. Visit the NYC SCPS course page for additional details.
