What is one thing that is common to all the social media or web 2.0 websites? You will have access to these sites from computers and multiple devices but you still retain your anonymity as far as your location is concerned.

Foursquare, however, lets people know where you are, what you are doing and much more. It follows through those passageways, alleys, twists and turns. Once you are on foursquare, it feels like you have this little device strapped to you somewhere on your body that keeps beeping and emits signals using which everyone can track you. Google Adsense too Automated? Try Human approved Ads for a Change

Google earns a whopping $ 6-7 billion a year  through its adsense program and there is this little start-up which might just slap the heck out of Google’s bread-winning, brilliant and a long-standing, profitable program.

Google adsense is a smart way of displaying merchant ads on most websites that talk about topics these are relevant to. For instance, Google Adsense would show pet food merchant ads or pet dog ads on a website that informs readers about pets or pet foods. (more…)

Facebook Updates: A New Face for Facebook?

The activity levels at facebook are feverish. Facebook has been trying to experiment with a lot of hope page designs and has finally announced on the Facebook blog that it has taken to this particular set-up which is rather intuitive and simple to use. Use of the Top Menu and left bars The earlier Facebook design was a continuous stream of updates from friends, groups and the flooding of your personal space with random notes. The new set-up allows you to view your updates as a drop down menu and on the left bars. This new Facebook update should make it easier for you to find the information you need faster than ever before. The new notifications, friend requests, “join a group”requests, etc., will all appear with numbered red bubbles on the top left hand corner as shown in the snapshot below. (more…)
